POSITION: Frame Builder

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds frames of sofa and/or chairs -  plywood and stick built

Essential functions:

• read ticket for instructions on parts to include in frame
• assemble frame - arms, backs, side rails, fronts
• use air stapler
• use wood glue
• must be able to read ruler

POSITION: Inspector - Final Department

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Inspects completed upholstered furniture before packing by approving products for quality, appearance, and finish; ensures that product meets customer specifications and satisfies company quality standards.

Essential Functions:

• Read Ticket For Instructions
• Visually Inspects Furniture
• Clip Excess Strings
• Steam Fabric As Needed
• Touch Up Paint On Finish
• Level Furniture
• Performs Other Duties As Assigned By Supervisor Or Plant Manager

POSITION: Inspector - Upholstery Dept

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Inspects upholstered furniture to meet company quality standards.

POSITION: Sewer - Cushions

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experienced production upholstery sewer to sew cushions - production.

POSITION: Sewer - Flatwork

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experienced production upholstery sewer to sew cover, etc. - Production - Fabric & Leather.

Experience in saddle-stitch, slipcovers, flatwork, cushions, etc.

POSITION: Spring Up *$1500 Sign-on Bonus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include 8-way hand tie, installing webbing and springs in chairs and sofa frames prior to upholstering.

Must have experience.

POSITION: Trimmer - Outside *$1500 SIGN-ON BONUS*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Trimmer

Essential Functions:

• Fit, install, and secure material on frames using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples
• Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces

At least 3 years experience required in a high-end furniture environment.

POSITION: Trimmer - Outside - Dressmaker/Waterfalls *$1500 Sign-on Bonus*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Trimmer - specifically trimming dressmakers and/or waterfalls

Essential Functions:

• Fit, install, and secure material on frames using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples
• Build furniture up with loose fiber stuffing, cotton, felt, and/or foam padding to form smooth rounded surfaces

At least 3 years experience required in a high-end furniture environment.

POSITION: Upholstery - Beds *$1500 Sign-on Bonus*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fully upholsters Bed - complete bed consists of headboard, footboard and side rails. 

POSITION: Upholstery - Chair Line *$1500 Sign-on Bonus*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds full inside on upholstered frame of chair.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret production ticket
• Knowledge of furniture terms and how they apply: flow match spots, center lines, carry throughs, 4 way line ups; adheres to lineup and flow match guidelines
• Seats: sew seat to frame, making cuts, applying cotton, applying border
• Arms: apply foam and cotton to areas on frames arms, make proper cuts and apply fabric to arms, apply borders as needed, band different kinds of arms (sock, track, panel border arm)
• Backs: apply fabric to back aligning stripes, keeping grain of fabric straight

POSITION: Upholstery - Ottomans *$1500 Sign-on Bonus*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds upholstered ottomans.

2-3 years of experience required.

POSITION: Upholstery - Recliners *$1500 Sign-on Bonus*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Upholstery recliners to company specifications.

Essential Functions:

• Apply fabric to all parts of recliner frame
• Upholster chair and/or sofas when needed

POSITION: Upholstery - Sofa Line *$1500 Sign-on Bonus*

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Builds full inside on upholstered frame of sofa.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret production ticket

POSITION: Utility/Assembly

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:  Applies sectional connectors, legs, swivels, swivel glides, bar stool base plates and bases to furniture per company specifications.  Assembles recliner mechanisms

Essential Functions:

·         Uses hammer, staple gun, staple puller, air screwdriver and tape measure to attach designated part to furniture

·         Reads production ticket and applies appropriate base, etc. per instructions

·         Must be able to read a tape measure

·         Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or plant manager.
